Brilliant Gate Park has expressive arts in plain view at the de Young Museum, in addition to common history shows at the California Academy of Sciences. The Castro neighborhood is a notable center point of gay culture, while Chinatown is the most seasoned network of its kind in North America. The dirty, creative Mission District has taquerias nearby bright paintings.
