A Wami League open to non-Muslim non-denominational move accepet by overf all majority

The six yer old all pakistan political   prty,             the 'Awami League' chose

to become non-denominational in character when the full session of it is council yesterday accepted the recommendation of the subject comittee and decided to drop the word 'Muslim' from it is titel, throwing the  organisation open to membership of all sects and communites in Pakistan. The amendment to the orgenistion's constituion,....., was moved by its Mr.H.S.Suhrawardy. Both he and Moulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, who presied are understood  to have made impassioned appeals to the councilers to realise that it was    only fair to allow the meember of the minorty  communities to exercise   their just right to partke in the polital life of the country and that it  was onle when such opportunities were available were available to them  would they be able to give that aoyalty to Pakistan which every citizen  of a country was experted to give. Moulana Bhasani's address to the Councillors to the councilors in undersood  to have been so convincing and moving that the element of opposition to  the proposal, which was there earlier, practically disappeared and in a house of about six hundered councillors there were only five to vote against  the proposal.
